Functional Neurological disorder (FND) Explained

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is where the signals between the brain and the nervous system are disrupted. It's like a Wi-Fi signal that's interrupted and it causes physical symptoms in the body symptoms such as dizziness, non epileptic seizures and other such conditions.

In many cases this is caused by trauma, and trauma is a person's negative emotional reaction to something that has happened them, causing the Flight, Flight, Freeze response to be heightened.

There has been scientific investigation and evidence that points to hypnosis and hypnotherapy being a very effective tool to either significantly improve or reducing the short term conditions of FND.

In my practice I have seen many such examples.

Hypnotherapy helps treat the symptoms of FND by working to release the negative emotional charge of trauma and create the right environment for the body to do what it does best which is to heal.
